At Sysnet we understand the importance of your personal data and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and the privacy of the users of our Sysnet Protect app (the “App”). On behalf of your bank, payment processor or card terminal provider (“Your Service Provider”), we provide you with access to the App.
When we say “Sysnet”, “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Sysxnet Limited, a company registered in Ireland with number 147176, and its subsidiaries. Except as set out in the final paragraph below, Your Service Provider is the data controller of any of your personal data that we may process in relation to the App (“Your Data”). As the data controller, Your Service Provider determines and defines how we can process Your Data on behalf of Your Service Provider. We process Your Data on the instructions of Your Service Provider and we are the data processor. Please refer to Your Service Provider’s privacy notice for details on how Your Service Provider processes your personal data. This privacy notice does not alter or amend any terms or privacy notices between you and Your Service Provider. If you have any queries or wish to exercise your rights in relation to any of Your Data please contact Your Service Provider.
To register on the App you will be asked to enter your email address and telephone number. If your email address matches the email address you provided to Your Service Provider, and if your subscription with Your Service Provider provides access to the functionality of the App, then the following paragraph will apply.
The App may process data such as your email address, telephone number, IP address, device information, log data, file data, executable program files and configuration and performance data, device and app history, identity, contacts, location, SMS, media files, Wi-Fi connection information, bluetooth connection information and call information. We will store Your Data securely and only for as long as is needed. We will share Your Data with Your Service Provider. We recognise that Your Data may itself contain personal data, including personal data collected and processed by you.
There are certain situations where we may act as a controller of your personal data, in circumstances where we solely determine the purposes and means of the processing of such personal data. An example of this may include where you register your email address via the App but you are not a customer of any acquirer/bank/payment facilitator/payment service provider on whose behalf we process data and provide the App.
